Christmas Festive Days


Performances on both days begin at 11:30am in St Wilfrid’s Church, with a seasonal glass and treat being served beforehand from 10.30am.

Friday 24th November: Landermason - Fiona Lander and Paul Mason

Landermason have been writing, recording and performing together for ten years. Multi-instrumentalist Fiona (vocals, piano, whistles, saxes, clarinet and recorder) and Paul (guitars and ukulele, vocals) have a unique sound which showcases their talents. Traditional and contemporary folk combine with jazz and other styles to create a unique and captivating sound.

Expect music both soothing and uplifting, and perhaps a few wintry ballads thrown in.

Friday 8th December: The Kirkharle String Quartet

Alexandra Raikhlina – violin; Iona Brown – violin; Mike Gerard – viola; Gabriel Wait – cello.

After their mesmerising concert to close our summer season, our resident string quartet return to help get us in the mood for the festive season. Their programme will include some wintry classical pieces as well as some of your favourite carols. We might even sing along with them!
