Sarah will teach you how to get the best from your phone camera so that you can take great pictures to sketch from. Rebecca will take you through the steps of sketching from your photographs. Iona Brown and Mike Gerrard, two generous and gifted musicians, and members of the royal Northern Sinfonia, will be giving a violin/viola duo concert. They are well known to audiences at Kirkharle as half of the string quartet who play regularly at the church.

The aim is to help raise funds to send Sophie, aged 16, to build homes for homeless families and other missionary activities as part of the M10 Challenge, a 10-day voluntary mission to Ensenada in Mexico.

The concert will be around an hour in length, held in the acoustically beautiful St Wilfrid’s Church and refreshments will be served after the music, with the chance to chat to Sophie about her exciting plans. Parking is at Kirkharle Courtyard.
