The Courtyard is set within the picturesque Northumbrian landscape and forms part of the wider 2,000 acre Kirkharle Estate.
Whether you want a short amble or longer stroll, there are numerous routes surrounding the Courtyard and extending further afield. These offer tranquility and views across vast open contrasting spaces whilst an abundance of nature can be enjoyed at every turn. Wander through the newly created woodland walk, stand in the 14th century St Wilfrids Church, look for geocaches, watch the lambs in the surrounding fields, or search for the answers to the Kirkharle Nature Trail.
Four Legged Friends
Dogs are permitted around the Courtyard and Lake but must be on a lead at ALL times. Please respect our surroundings and clean up after them. Dogs are not allowed in the Coffee House but can accompany owners in the outside seating area.
