It is a pleasure to welcome the Da Vinci Quartet, led by accomplished violinist Iona Brown, to the Kirkharle Summer Concerts series again. The group has become a regular fixture over the years as part of the summer programme.
The quartet, all members of the Royal Northern Sinfonia (RNS), perform regularly together. Iona Brown is currently a principal first violin with the RNS which she joined in 1995, Jane Nossek is a sub-principal first violin, Michael Gerrard a section leader viola and Gabriel Waite, a sub-principal cello.
The programme will include Beethoven String Quartet op.59 and Smetana String Quartet no.1.
There are three steps down into the church. We can help if you have access needs.
